EcoTools Review

I just uploaded a review to YouTube on the EcoTools 6-pc-brush set, which includes a blush brush, an eye shading brush, an eyeliner brush, a lash and brow groomer, a concealer brush, and a brush roll.

Price: 4.5 out of 5; I picked it up for $10. But it was on sale. Not sure what the normal price is.
Packaging: 5 out of 5; it's environmentally conscious; I really like the packaging. The reusable storage pouch is rather cute!
Performance: 3.5 out of 5; The blush and concealer brushes are my faves. I don't have much to say about the lash/brow groomer or liner brush. I don't use a liner brush that much. The shadow brush leaves something to be desired. It is better suited as a concealer or cream shadow brush.
Overall: 3.5 out of 5; great starter set.

Sponge Tip Applicators ONLY!

Emily Noel recently posted a challenge to do an eye makeup look using only sponge tip applicators. I decided to go with something altogether bright and vulgar. Isn't it lovely?

The most difficult part of this challenge was blending the colors together.

Disclaimer: She does not wear makeup on a regular basis. After all, she is only 5. This was kinda a joke thing and she wanted to be a "big girl" and make a video.

Awesome MAC Facechart Tutorial: UnZipped

So, one of the gurus I subscribe to is Petrilude. He does some amazing looks and right now, he's really diving into Halloween. Today, he posted a tutorial video for one of MAC's Halloween Face Charts from last year. It's "UnZipped." Amazing! Check it out!

I'm So Awesome

I was just mentioned in my very first youtube video that's NOT BY ME! It's a video by EmilyNoel83, whom I totally love. She's got great videos and tutorials. She's very articulate, explains things well. She's a news anchor, no wonder!

Anyway, her question of the week last week was guessing the brand of certain eyeshadows that she had swatched. Of the 199 guesses, 15 views guessed the right brand. ONE VIEWER guessed the right shade. GUESS WHO?

I don't know why I'm so excited, but I am.
